Tristan Andre Parks is producing and performing his devised piece They Do Not Know Harlem: In Communion with James Baldwin and his hosting a fundraiser to cover the costs. I’ll be there on Saturday, will you?
Here’s what Tristan has to say about it:
Saturday, April 27th at 7 PM we will present an an excerpt of They Do Not Know Harlem at Walltown Children's Theatre! It is open to the public but alas, we ask that you be willing to give $1, $5 or $100 as we gear for the full-length presentation in the coming 2 weeks! You could even give by donating to our GoFundMe page which is linked below! This is piece that acknowledges our past, honors the present and looks toward our futures! It has been 10 months in the works! And we are working diligently to shape a new world that has been envisioned by our teacher and grandfather James Baldwin! Again, the link for our GoFundMe is below as well as the QR code to help simplify donating to the cause and sanctity of this work! Help us exceed our goal, beloveds! We love y'all for free! See you, Saturday!
