Movement has been and continues to be a major part of my life. It was my mother that first encouraged my artist self when I shared with her movement I created. It was in church that I first experienced leadership as a choreographer. (Shoutout to Choresis!) And no matter what shape, size or form my body is in, it has always known how to twist, contort, shake, shimmy and twerk out a story. Sometimes the story is pain. Sometimes the story is joy. Sometimes the story is release. Sometimes freedom. But the story is always true. Always art. Always holy.

This open stu is an invitation to experience that in community. This is a movement space. Feel free to move as little or as a lot as you want (while watching out for others #BodyAwareness). This is not a dance class. There will be no leader or teacher. Just you. And just us. And I know thats more than enough.
