CJ Suitt
CJ Suitt (he/him/his) is an performance poet, arts educator, and community organizer from Chapel Hill, NC, whose work is rooted in storytelling and social justice. Most recently he is returning to his hometown from a roadtrip/interview-based podcast called Sitting In The Intersection, which discusses relationships across differences. He is committed to speaking truth to power and aims to be a bridge for communities who cannot always see themselves in each other.

Daniel B. Coleman (he/they) is a black trans / feminist nerd, mover, lover of all good food and beverages, a traveling soul, a tight embracer, a memorable giggler, a healer and a listener. They feel best in the middle of the woods somewhere, near the ocean, or surrounded by loved ones with great music, nice wine, a meal. Daniel hast two fuzzy children, Xiq and Gaza, that he currently shares a home with in Durham.

I am A.yoni Jeffries. I sing often in lone rooms filled with silence + stillness. I craft things with my hands and I enjoy dull pencils + notebook paper. My presence either comforts or intimidates - and I am discovering that I only control how I see myself.

Johanna Rose (bka JoRose) is a performance artist born and raised right here in Durham. She REALLY wanted to be an astronaut, but her mom told her no, so now she tries her luck spinning on a Lyra instead. Terryca Taylor
Terryca Taylor is 31 years old from Murfreesboro, NC. She attended North Carolina Central University and has dedicated her life to children. She works with children 0-5 years old and always teaches through love. She has a non-profit called US Outreach where she gives to communities that are less fortunate. She aspires to operate a farm in which she can run a children's home with the "forgotten children" as she knows what it's like to be invisible.

She is a 7th generation North Carolinian from New Bern, NC, an initiated priest in the Ifa/Yoruba tradition and mother of two beautiful Black sons, Che and Taj.

She has deep South Carolina roots and is her happiest when surrounded by people she loves, preferably at a big family cookout. She's a dancer, a yogi, a lover of good food and great conversation.
